Gigabyte’s New P-Series Ultraforce Laptops Now Available
The hardware giant Gigabyte has launched its new P-series of laptops, with a range of features for top-notch performance.
In terms of specs, it packs a decent punch with its 5th generation Intel Core i7 processor based on the 14nm Broadwell architecture. These new laptops are not only powerful, but are better at consumption as well.
For all your graphics needs, we have an Nvidia GeForce GTX 900M series graphics based on the popular Maxwell architecture, that is featured in some of the top-tier Nvidia cards.
It boosts visuals with technologies such as DSR, MFAA and VXGI, a technology previously available to 3D animators. I don’t need to tell you the laptops are gaming centric, so they doubled down on VRAM as well.
More VRAM means the laptops will allow players to enable more effects and textures during gameplay, without hurting the overall system performance. On top of that, players who like to stream gameplay online can make use of a bundled-in XSplit Gamecaster Premium membership.
Based on the GTX 980M, Gigabyte’s P37X uses a 17.3” display and is capable of delivering P10000+ in 3DMark 11. The new line of products cover dimensions from 14″ to 17″ by the way.
Users who like slim yet powerful portable machines can grab a P37, P35 or a P34. For those who prefer a bit of aggression in their machines, can opt-in for P55, but you can also go for value all-rounders P17F and P15F.
Coming back to the P37X, it features NVIDIA GTX 980M GeForce GDDR5 8GB, which is capable of running the most demanding games. It comes with a swappable storage design, which I think should be the norm for every laptop by now.
The P37X is for gamers and graphic professionals. It offers considerable processing power mixed with an exceptional graphics performance.
What do think of the new line of laptops?
