Apple Permits Migration From Android With iOS 9
Apple has displayed the first Android-related iOS app which will allow Android migration to iOS. The app will be released with iOS 9.
With the announced app, Apple has made it easy to switch from Android phone to iOS device. Also secure transfer of contacts, camera photos, videos, message history, mail accounts, calendars, songs, books, and web bookmarks has been made possible. This is according to Android Community.
In addition, users will be able to keep the apps they liked on Android. Paid apps will not be added but users’ suggested free apps will be downloaded. The alternative for the former miss, will be iTunes Wish List that will automatically add those apps for user’s reference.
Beyond that the app will facilitate moving photos, music, documents, and other files from an Android device to a new iPhone. By the same fashion, the same profile, calendars, and contacts on your Android remain valid for the iPhone.
Further “using iTunes, photos and videos on an Android phone can be transferred to the iPhone. It’s the same with your music from Android, you can also transfer them via iTunes or a supported streaming music app.
For e-book in ePUB and PDF formats, you can transfer them to the iPhone and access from the iBooks library,” the news source explains.
Files saved on Android can be opened using the Android Migration feature of the iOS 9. Similarly, editing and synchronization of files will be possible on iCloud.
