AMD Radeon 300 Series Roadmap May Have Been Leaked, No Fiji After E3?
Before we jump into the speculations and assumptions, I would like to let you know that the AMD’s leaked presentation slide we will discuss here today, could potentially be fake. There are plenty of pointers for that, the font is different from some of the other AMD slides, at the left side AMD is using the word “High-End” rather than Enthusiast.
However, for the sake of discussion lets put these red flags in the side for a moment. The first thing this slide reveals to us is that the Fiji card isn’t coming before Hawaii, Tonga, Curacao and Oland-based products. Which is a bit strange but it gives weight to the rumors saying AMD will not release Fiji right after E3.
AMD has also given new codenames to the already known line of products.
- Fiji (new)
- Grenada (previously known as Hawaii)
- Antigua (previously known as Tonga)
- Trinidad (previously known as Curacao or Pitcairn)
- Tobago (previously known as Bonaire)
- Oland (unchanged)
If we assume that X axis is the timeframe for the release of these cards, then AMD is pushing Fiji a bit further away from E3.
This leaked AMD Radeon 300 series roadmap is yet to be commented upon by AMD, but I will let you know if anything new is shared with us. Till then, feel free to speculate in the comments below.
On a related note, pricing for AMD 300 series GPUs have been leaked online, check it out here.
