Computex 2015 Concluded, Here Are The Event’s Highlights
Computex 2015, the world’s second largest ICT trade show, was concluded with a golf tournament played in the Tong Hwa Golf & Country Club. The activity was indeed a source of much needed diversion of minds from the event, that had made them obsessed with new technology. And this isn’t any exaggeration. By no means.
The event hosted several introductory ceremonies of as many products related to the computer industry. The unveiled products include motherboards, cases, SSD, memory, graphics cards, and more.
In the following paragraphs, you will be able to catch the gist of the important happening during the event. I have chosen three most important announcements (according to my own discernability) for each day. It is worth mentioning here that the news have been selected mostly from the domain of computer components and accessories. For summation of the entire event in one article would be an ambitious attempt and could have resulted in a mess.
What happened On Monday?
1- Nvidia introduced,its next generation graphic card, the new GTX 980 Ti. The aforesaid card is based on 28nm GM200 GPU core. The card maker has lowered its VRAM, as compared to GeForce Titan X, to quite a significant level, and CUDA cores have also been reduced by 8%. In less mechanical language, Nvidia has produced yet another graphics card to maintain its position of the champion of the graphics card industry.
2- Another card was launched by EVGA, as it brought out the GeForce GTX Titan X Hybrid Graphics Card with liquid cooling solution.
3- Micro-Star International Co., Ltd announced GTX 980 Ti water cooled graphics card. For this product, the company made an important partnership with Corsair.
What happened On Tuesday?
Highlights of the Tuesday announcements are following.
1: Just one year old company KLEVV showcased its impressive CRAS Creative Evolution DDR4 memory modules.
2: Famous company in manufacturing SSDs for Apple’s Mac systems as well as portable SSDs, Anglebird, marked its attendance in Computex 2015 with SSD2go pocket lineup. Additionally, the firm showed new Wings PCI-Express SSD cards.
3- MSI stepped out with the new X99A GODLIKE Gaming motherboard. The mother board is rich in features.
What happened On Wednesday?
1-Corsair introduced company’s latest mechanical gaming keyboard. Its red LED backlight is doubtlessly enticing. Customers will have to embrace the aforementioned keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches.
2- Corsair made another highlight of the day with unveiling ceremony of its new RMi PSU series.

1- Taiwanese giant company ASUS brought to the front its just developed and upcoming hybrid-cooled ROG Poseidon GTX 980 Ti.
2- Three motherboards, all Intel Z170 Express based, were displayed by EVGA.
3- The world’s first ever “modular tower,” or MasterCase was unveiled from Cooler Master.
