Galaxy Note 5 Coming With Samsung Pay?
Earlier TechFrag reported about the ‘accidentally’ published page by Samsung, which listed specs of its much anticipated Galaxy S6 Active.
According to the web news sources, Samsung has made another ‘accidental’ release; this time its about the launch date of a different flagship from the South Korean firm.
The clue was taken on Wednesday, when Samsung executive vice president Rhee In Jong. Rhee was giving a presentation to a group of investors. Mr Rhee told the investors that his company would launch its mobile payment system, Samsung Pay, in September instead of previously scheduled July.
The executive also said that Samsung Pay will debut in company’s upcoming high-end smartphone. This sort of correlation between the arrival of payment system and the handset leads to the conclusion that Samsung Pay will be first employed in the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. This is according to PhoneArena.
Several other rumors have been suggesting that the Galaxy Note 5 will be outed during IFA convention 2015, which will start in the first week of September. All this leads to an enhanced believe in the above articulated clue.
Moreover, Mr.Rhee expressed his company’s optimism about the success of Samsung Pay. Between 15%-20% users of Samsung smartphones will use the payment system, the executive shared company’s hopes.
To launch its very own payment system, Samsung bought Loop Pay. Unlike the most traditional mechanism of connecting with retailers’ POS systems using NFC, Samsung’s purchased system “uses the magnetic stripe on the back of charge and debit cards,” explains the news source.
