Since the company has already commenced seeding the advanced OS software, users who want to upgrade their devices should check out for the Lollipop upgrade on their high-end handsets. To manually check the update status, Xperia Z3 owners need to open Settings>About Device>Software Update>Check for updates.
Some users may not get the update notification immediately because the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is an OTA, thus likely to take time to reach all the devices.
This goes without saying that the Xperia Z3 owners will avail several new features and enhancements through the update. Android 5.0 Lollipop offers revamped notifications, enhances security, improves connectivity, in addition to enchanting material design and battery saving processing.
T-Mobile is the only network operator in the US which deals Sony smartphones. Thus all the Xperia users in the territory look towards the retailer for upgrading of their phones. Xperia Z1 users got the updated software relatively timely, but the Xperia Z3 owners had to wait for quite a long period.
