How to Update Asus ZenFone 5 and 6 to Android 5.0 Lollipop v220.127.116.11
Asus finally has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for ZenFone 5 and and ZenFone 6 users. The software update 18.104.22.168 is being released over-the-air (OTA), and is currently seeding for ZenFone 5 models A500CG and A501CG, and ZenFone 6 models A600CG and A601CG.
The company has listed a changelog after the 5.0 Lollipop update on both of its ZenFone series devices, which include removal of some pre-installed apps such as:
- Battery widget
- PhotoFrame widget
- Google Text-To-Speech
- Movie Studio
- Cloud Print
- Magic Smoke wallpapers

Step 1: Download Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA update for your ZenFone from the above links.
Step 2: Connect the phone to the computer via USB cable, and transfer the downloaded file to either the internal or external storage of the phone.
Step 3: Unplug the USB cable from the phone.
Step 4: You should see a notification on the notification bar in a few seconds.
Step 5: Now apply the update.
Step 6: Once the installation process is completed, reboot the phone.
