ZenFone Selfie from ASUS Brings Better Selfies with 13 Megapixel Camera
The next serious competition among smartphone makers is for non-serious pictures, taken without any formal considerations, Selfies. Keeping the competition alive, a smartphone making player, ASUS, has made a superlative move by introducing a new ZenFone Selfie smartphone at Computex 2015 in Taipei. In the aforementioned handset, ASUS has incorporated 13-Megapixel front and rear cameras.
The Taiwanese smartphone maker has yet to announce the date when the selfie focused smartphone will hit the market, and what it will cost to the buyers.
The 13-megapixel rear and front cameras of the Asus ZenFone Selfie are accompanied by f/2.0 aperture, laser autofocus, 28mm focal length, and dual-colour Real Tone flash– all a photographer would be contended to have. Other features for superb photography experience include elfie Panorama mode, backlight (HDR) mode, enhanced beautification mode, manual mode, zero shutter lag, and an ability to capture bright pictures even in the dim light, Gadget enlists the features of the phone.
As per the operating system, the ZenFone Selfie is running Android Lollipop. To empower it, ASUS has a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (1.7GHz quad-core and 1GHz quad-core) processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
A report suggests that customers will be able to choose between, 2GB of RAM and 3GB of RAM, variants of the ual-SIM (Micro-SIM) supporting smartphone. By the same token, users can opt for phone with 6GB or 32GB of inbuilt storage, with option to expand memory in both the cases.
Beyond that, users of the new ASUS selfie focused smartphone will watch multimedia on its 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS LCD with pixel density of 403ppi. The screen will be protected from scratches by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The smartphone encases a 3000mAh battery.
