Reports: Samsung Is Working On a Flexible Smartphone With Two Screens
Well, we have seen some weird yet unique and cool concepts for devices over the years. Just yesterday, we brought you Lenovo’s concept for a smartphone with projecting capabilities.
Now, we have a new report that will make you scratch your heads. Samsung, the popular smartphone maker, is developing a new type of smartphone that can be folded. Not only that, it has two screens, because having one is just too mainstream.
The report claims that the device is being called Project Valley internally at Samsung. It is also known as Project V for short and the device is still in very early stages of its development, so not much is known about it.
Users will be able to shift screen using certain gestures.
The project seems too odd and frankly it’s hard to believe the report. We may not have even been writing about this if the source had a good track record for leaks. Even if such a device is in development, it is a high possibility it will never see the light of day.
Samsung has not said a single word about this device but the company has said in the past that it plans to release smartphones with flexible displays by 2016.
The smartphone giant could be cooking-up something big behind the scenes but we won’t know for sure until official word is provided.
