Rumor: Two New Nexus Phones By LG and Huawei Coming Out This Year
All Nexus fans your wait is over, no more wondering when the latest Nexus flagship phone will arrive. Google, breaking its ‘one phone per year’ policy, will be launching two Nexus phones with LG and Huawei labels.
After Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, these two phones from Google will be the next in line. Reportedly, these phones are being categorized as Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 for 2015. Also, both of these devices will be labeled as handsets with no tablet releasing this year. The device which is being manufactured by LG is supposedly the smaller version of the two, whereas the Huawei one is said to be larger.
According to a report by Android Police, these two handsets will be making their debut in October which is said to be a traditional launching season for Google. This will be the first time that Google will be launching two phones in the same year only if these rumors turn out to be true.
The LG made Nexus is rumored to have a 2700 mAh battery along with a 5.2-inch screen. The smaller Nexus will run hexa-core Snapdragon 808 SoC processor. Reportedly, it is named as the ‘Angler’.
The second phone being manufactured by Huawei is said to be coded as the ‘Bullhead’ which, by the sound of it, will have a larger 5.7-inch display. It will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC processor which is one of the best processors being used nowadays. It has a 3500 mAh battery and will be easy to operate compared to Nexus 6.
Rumors about the Nexus Bullhead came out last week and it is said to run on Kirin 930 octa-core processor, based on Huawei Ascend Mate 8.
Since these reports are based on a rumor, we would have to wait until October for code green.
