Sony Xperia Z3+, actually the Japan’s Xperia Z4, Coming Out in June
The Sony Xperia flagship phone Z4 that launched in Japan only, is launching globally with the same specs but a different name, Sony Xperia Z3+. The company announced earlier today that Z3+ will be launching worldwide in June.
The whole world criticized HTC for sticking to its previous design for One M9, however Sony is re-launching the same old Z3 as Z3+, beat that! It has gone through some minor internal and external changes. Sony Xperia Z3+ has the same 5.2 inch display with 1080p (1080×1920) resolution.
Z3+ is powered by Snapdragon 810 SOC 64-bit processor with Adreno 430 graphics (GPU). It has a 3 GB RAM and an octa-core CPU. Rear camera specifications remain the same i.e. 20.7 mega pixel with Exmor RS sensor, while the front camera has improved with 5 MP rather than 2 MP. So sefie and Xperia lovers, now is your chance.
The Z3+ has a trimmed battery; it can now work up to just 2900 mAh, which is 300 mAh less than Z3. Although the newly decreased battery has allowed Sony to decrease the thickness of the phone. The phone is now 6.9 mm thick, previously it was 7.3 mm.
The USB port has been moved to the bottom from top, also removing the cap that was covering the opening. The handset has a 65 out of 68 IP rating for waterproofing and dust. If you do not know what IP68 means, it states that the phone won’t get damaged even if it is under water as deep as 3 meters (9.8 feet).
Pricing has not been announced yet. The model can be purchased in black, white, copper or aqua green and has a full aluminum-framed body.
