OnePlus One Touchscreen Issue Has Been Rectified, Thanks to latest CyanogenMod 12.1 nightly
According to news sources, the latest nightly release of CyangenMod 12.1 has finally cured OnePlus One which has been suffering from touchscreen issues since a few weeks.
Most of the testimonials have come through Reddit where people have applauded CyanogenMod 12.1 build, released recently (15 May), as the revised firmware has finally got them rid of all the irking of touchscreen problems.
“Fixed my problems so far. Just updated latest nightly and all touch issues are gone. Going to leave it in the sun for a while and see how it goes,” one Redditor updated. This wasn’t the only acknowledgement by OnePlus One users; couple of other corroborations also surfaced for CM nightly’s veritable success.
“Everyone with touchscreen issues should try Flashing latest cyanogenmod 12.1 nightly. I just wiped dalvik/cache/system and flashed the rom, so i didn’t lose any app). This is because they kinda fixed it by adding something related to the touchscreen,” another forum member vowed.
Prior to the release of CyanogenMod 12.1 nightly, the smartphone maker has failed to rectify the issues. The company made several promises to bring the problem solving fixes but nothing worked. Now the situation has become ridiculous for OnePlus as its promised ‘final firmware fix’ is still in testing phase when the solution has been devised by external source.
