Amazon Fire Phone’s Price Drops!
Do you guys remember the O2 locked Fire Phone? Amazon’s first smartphone, if you do not then we don’t blame you as the phone was declared as a commercial flop. It was introduced last year and the company has already decided to cut £200 from its flagship phone, again.
Yes, twice! Amazon really really really wants you to buy the leftover stock (which we are assuming might be a lot). Back in January the company decided to drop the price to £99 and now the same offer is back. It is a discount offer only available for customers in UK till May 22, 4 PM.
The 32 GB model will be available for the same price as it were back in January whereas the 64 GB model will be up for purchase £30 more than the last sale. So you would be able to buy it for £179, saving £200 on either of the phones.
Jeff Bezos, CEO Amazon said that this will not be the last smartphone from the internet giant. Failures and mistakes are what make developers learn and improve what they have missed. He says that a ‘smart failure’ may take ‘many iterations’ and only then it can be perfected. So we are guessing the company is just clearing its way before the new phone arrives.
However if we were to suggest, we would say it won’t be a smart choice to buy this phone as much better smartphones are available in the same price range with better features and operating systems. They are more advanced with Androids gone up to Lollipop whereas Fire Phone was just updated to KitKat.
