HTC J Butterfly has Better Specs than One M9
HTC’s policy of not including some major features in their flagship phones might be putting them behind others in the race to attract larger audience. The latest HTC J Butterfly puts One M9 at shame because it has far more advanced features and a much appealing outer look.
HTC J Butterfly was announced in Japan earlier today via KDDI, the same phone will be entering globally by the name of Butterfly 3. It has a 13 megapixel front camera and 20.2 dual back cameras for bokeh effect.
The phone has a 5.2 inch QHD display powered with Snapdragon 810 processor. It has a 3 GB RAM and in-built 32 GB memory which can be extended using a microSD card. J Butterfly has a 2700 mAh battery and comes in three different colors rosso (red), silk (white) and indigo (blue).
Another plus point is that the new smartphone is water proof, although it has a plastic body and not the same as its predecessor, but still looks awesome. It is missing on the finger scan feature though. It also has LTE-Advanced radio, NFC, IR blaster and Dolby-powered side BoomSound speakers to make you enjoy your music without speakers.
Avoiding what might be the only reason of the success of smartphones globally, ‘new additions’ can decrease HTC’s demand in the market. Not including the latest features in their flagship phones might be a bad idea. So HTC might want to rethink their smartphone policies.
