According to some users, the latest budget smartphone from Motorola, the Moto E (2015), is receiving the Android 5.1 Lollipop update. Soon enough all of you will be upgraded as the update just started flowing in.
According to the company’s official changelog, the new update is not only about upgrading the OS but they have also fixed some bugs which will provide more control over notifications and improve stability. The low-end smartphone is providing firmware features and the update will improve Android Runtime (ART) making applications launch quicker than before.
Although the price range is quite affordable but Moto E has not failed at providing users with a range of features and the most amazing updates. The Moto E has 1GB RAM and it is powered by Snapdragon 410 processor and built-in memory of 8 GB.
With this update, Motorola has improved the cameras as well; front camera’s low-light photos’ viewfinder has been improved. In order to minimize accidental interactions, the minimum swipe distance has been increased enabling the Ambient Display.
And fear not if you have lost your phone: if password protected, no one would be able to access it until you sign in from your Google account, even if the factory settings are restored. Another great addition is swiping the notification out of the lock screen. This process does not swipe away the notification from the notification panel though.
Although some of the users have reported receiving the update, but if you have not, just sit tight and wait because this might take several days.
