Tango Launches Integrated Shopping Feature with Walmart and Alibaba
Like to shop online but hate leaving your chat app? Well we have exciting news for all of you; Tango has collaborated with Walmart and Alibaba to provide users the best online shopping experience without exiting the app.
Tango, the hot Silicon Valley chat app, is partnering with e-commerce giant Alibaba and US famous Walmart to combine user interface and online shopping.
Over the past few years, shopping online from mobile has become a rising trend. US members of Tango can choose from a range of products, the app will curate lists based on user preferences and it will also allow them to share their self created lists with others. This will take online shopping to another level, allowing users to involve their friends, family and peers in the process.
VP Tango Labs Chi-Chao Chang says that this will be the first in app online shopping option available in the country which will allow users to buy and share things they like at the same time without having to leave their app. A tab will be available for viewing in the core app.
This is the first native shopping app in a messaging app. There will be a tab in the core app allowing users to browse or search merchandise that will be interesting to them, and act as a portal to talk to friends and family. The mobile shoppers are there and we want to get as many diverse products in front of our customers as fast as we can. It’s important for us to enter the mobile commerce space with credible partners.
The newest update and addition will be regulated from today. The app is available for Kindle Fire, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7, Android and OS.
