iPhone 6s Will Feature a Rose Gold Finish, Says Analyst
Apple is expected to announce a new iPhone 6s soon, and recent rumors dictate that it will be available in a luxury rose gold finish.
This is according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who has had a fairly decent track record when it comes to predicting Apple’s product plans ahead of their announcements.
In a research note published today, Kuo also discussed how Apple would probably upgrade the smartphone’s camera to 12-megapixels. The company has been sticking with the 8-megapixel resolution for a couple of generations, and with the industry, and consumer demands moving forward, it would only make sense to cater to those needs and offer a higher resolution camera for improved photography.
The iPhone 6s is also expected to add Force Touch. The pressure-sensitive touch input would open up new boundaries for app developers to explore, which in turn would mean unique interactive software for users to experience.
Kuo also noted that the new smartphone would also get an additional microphone to further boost call quality. The larger Plus variant would feature sapphire screens for improved scratch resistance and durability, seeing how most are dwelling in the assumption that the Plus variant is prone to damage.
These still are speculations from an industry analyst. We’ll know for sure what Apple is planning in the coming months. Kuo’s history, though, suggests that most, if not all, of his points will eventually come true.
