AT&T Trek HD 4G LTE Coming Out May, The Company’s First Self-Branded Tablet
AT&T, world’s leading telecommunications company has announced a 4G LTE enabled tablet called Trek HD. The reason why its exiting is, it is the first of its kind — this is the company’s first branded tablet with the latest OS.
According to AT&T Mobility’s Device Marketing and Developer Services senior vice president Jeff Bradley, this innovation is a step forward in producing affordable products that provide maximum range of features.
The Trek HD is a big step forward for AT&T in terms of developing affordable products with premium features. Not only is this our first AT&T branded tablet, it’s the first tablet in our entire portfolio with Lollipop already installed, so when you buy the Trek HD you’re getting the most advanced Android operating system at a great value – on the network with the nation’s strongest 4G LTE signal.
AT&T Trek HD comes with Android Lollipop already updated in it so no more worrying about the latest updates, until obviously another OS comes out. The tablet is powered by Snapdragon 400 1.6 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm processor. It has a 4,060mAh battery that can run up to 8 hours consecutively, so if you are out on a road trip it will help you stay connected and kill boredom.
It has an 8-inch HD display and the multi-user feature lets you add different accounts on your tablet. Trek HD has an auto focus 5 megapixel back camera and 2 megapixel front camera. It has a 16 GB built-in memory which is extendable up to 32 GB using external microSD card. It is lightweight (12 ounces) and easily portable. AT&T Trek HD offers two pricing plans; with a two year agreement plan, the customers can get the tab at $50. The second plan goes as far as 20 months with $10 payment each month. You can buy the tablet online May 12 onwards from www.att.com and in stores from May 15.
