YouTube for Android update Adds Option to Pause Search History: APK Download
YouTube for Android’s latest update v10.18 reportedly adds a brand new option ‘Pause watch history’. This new feature will let users control their latest videos and stop them from joining the previously watched videos list.
As the newest YouTube update is flowing in, according to Android Police, it is offering users a little extra control over their privacy. When you select the feature, previously watched videos will disappear from your history. Magic?
Not really, such an option already exists where users can disable or pause search history but the best part is once you have selected the option, it will be applied to all devices wherever you use your account. The update will be synced across all devices maximizing the effect of your selected option.
Now all of you might be wondering where this ‘Pause watch history’ option exists, right? According to the report, it’s quite simple. All you have to do is locate the menu option, a flow bar will appear. Then select Settings, another box will open and then hit Privacy for changing and/or altering it as you wish.
Four options will appear once you have selected privacy. First would be ‘clear watch history’ which will enable the users to clear their account’s watch history from all the devices. Second option ‘clear search history’ will let the users remove all searches made from their account. Third and fourth options will pause ‘watch’ and ‘search’ from that point onwards from all devices synced with their account.
The new updated YouTube app is available at APK for downloading.
Note: The ‘Pause Watch history’ option on your PC is located on top corner of the history page.
