Sony Takes The Wraps Off Xperia C4, The “selfie smartphone”
Sony charms selfie loves with its new Xperia C4. The company unveiled the “selfie smartphone” on Wednesday.
The handset, being marketed as PROSelfie smartphone, is succeeding Xperia C3 which was launched in 2014.
“Following the success of Xperia C3, we are proud to introduce Sony’s evolved PROselfie smartphone,” read company’s official blog.
“Xperia C4 caters to consumers that want a smartphone that not only takes great photos, but also packs a punch. Benefiting from Sony’s camera expertise, the 5 MP front-facing camera with wide-angle lens lets you capture perfect selfies, while its quality display and performance features provide an all-round advanced smartphone experience.”
Sony has incorporated in its smartphone a pair of amazing censors for imaging. The 5 MP secondary camera with LED flash is indeed an attractive choice for people who love to twist their faces, now and then, to upload selfies on social media. Sony’s latest smartphone device has a 13 MP rear-facing camera with HDR and autofocus as well.
The Xperia C4 features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS screen with a pixel resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels with impressive pixel density of 400 ppi. A 64-bit octa-core Cortex-A53 processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz, lies under its hood to empower it. The Android phone comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card via expansion slot. The phone encases a 2,600 mAh.
