Image: Three Things You Need to Understand To Be Better At Photography
Want to capture the perfect picture? You will need to know three things in order to be better at photography; the aperture, the shutter speed, and the ISO.
First lets talk about the aperture. It is the one which controls the light passing through the lens of your camera. So if you are taking picture in a very bright place, how can aperture help you? You must choose a smaller aperture, that will let less light pass through the lens.
This will improve the quality of your picture.
The second thing you should keep in mind is the shutter speed. This is the amount of time the camera lens is opened to allow light inside for the sensor. Shutter speeds are usually fractions of a second, so you can understand that fast speeds will allow less, while slow speeds will allow more light into the sensor.
Slow shutter speeds work best at night!
Lastly, the ISO is the level of sensitivity of your camera to the light around it. The sensitivity is normally measured in numbers. So low number represents low sensitivity while high represents high sensitivity. The problem with using a higher number is that it will create noisier images.
All three of these aspects play an important role in photography, so you will have to mix things up depending the conditions around you.
