T-Mobile Customers Owning Samsung Galaxy Note 4 To Get Android 5.0 Lollipop
The next phone to get Android 5.0 Lollipop update is Samsung Galaxy Note 4’s T-Mobile variant. The Samsung flagship phablet users who got it from T-Mobile have been deprived of the Lollipop experience for too long and it is going to change now. Product manager of T-Mobile recently tweeted that the update is set to arrive next week.
Samsung has been working with carriers to release Android 5.0 Lollipop to Galaxy Note 4. The update has arrived on all major carriers in US including Verizon, Sprint and AT&T; however, T-Mobile’s users of the device are yet to receive it.
Different users who have received the update on Galaxy Note 4 have different experiences of the update. Some are not getting many issues and enjoying the material design, but majority of the users are reporting bugs and issues.
Some are even regretting to update their phone to Android 5.0 Lollipop and wishing to go back to KitKat. However, many issues found in 5.0 have been fixed in the latest 5.1 update released by Google. But we are not sure when it will arrive on Galaxy Note 4 and there is no word about it yet.
As for the 5.0 Lollipop update for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 4, it will arrive in next week. T-Mobile’s Product Manager, Des Smith posted to Twitter on April 24:
This just in!!! Technical Acceptance on #Note4 Lollipop software update achieved! Should start to rollout next week! Woot woot!
