Android Robot Found On Google Maps Discharging Urine On Apple Logo
Apple and Google have never had very smooth relationships; this needs no explanation. Now someone from Google has uploaded an image to Google Maps in which an Android robot can be seen pissing at the official logo of Apple. The nonsensical picture is, until the time of publishing, visible on Google Maps.
The controversial image has been located in a small patch of terrain in Google Maps ostensibly near southern part of Rawalpindi, a small city near the capital of Pakistan.
People with basic information about how Google Maps works, are attributing the bizarre attempt to some (unknown until now) privileged official of the search giant. This is because the manipulation of terrain information is beyond the access of common users who do have, however, permission to edit some of the data in Google Maps.
The image does not represent any physical existence of such a thing. In fact, when someone tries to look at it closely by switching the Google Maps to Google Earth mode, the image disappears at once. The guardian perceives the image as an adaptation from “a famous bootleg of Bill Watterson’s newspaper strip Calvin and Hobbes.”
It is not known when did actually the unknown eccentric official posted the image. Similarly, nothing can be said about Google’s awareness of the image.
The recent incident is one of those little contentions which contribute to exacerbate the mutual relationships of the companies.
Neither Google nor Android commented on the issue.
