OnePlus To Launch Low-End Model Along With OnePlus Two This Year
OnePlus has gained tremendous success with its OnePlus One smartphone, and all eyes are now set on its upcoming OnePlus Two. However, both OnePlus One and OnePlus Two are flagship premium phones, which not everyone is capable of affording.
What exactly is OnePlus doing to boost its share in the low-end market? Well, according to a new report, the company is going to launch a new OnePlus low-end model in an attempt to boost its market share.
If the company releases a new smartphone for low-end market, it will be a huge move from OnePlus. It will boost its capability of competing with some other industry giants.
For now we don’t know anything about the new smartphone but it seems they will pack a punch. OnePlus may look to add decent specs at a low price to tempt consumers of Xiaomi and Huawei.
Also, there have been rumors of OnePlus thinking about delaying OnePlus 2 due to the popularity of OnePlus One. It is possible that they could delay the flagship phone to 2016 in favor of its mid or low-end smartphone this year.
Until further details arrive, we can’t say what’s happening behind the scenes for sure.
Since releasing OnePlus One, the company has maintained a limited stock, so it’s hard to find a phone. Some say it is a tactic to capture users’ interest. But it is unlikely OnePlus will use the same tactics with their low-end phone. They would want to sell as many as they can, as quick as they can.
