Here’s How You Can Enable App Store Free Apps Password Settings on iOS 8.3
Hey guys! I’m back once again today with another one of our “Here’s How” articles for you. Last time, I explained the procedure for downgrading to iOS 8.2 from iOS 8.3 on your iPhone or iPad, and today I will tell you about a way to enable App Store free apps settings on iOS 8.3.
The new iOS version was rolled out last week for Apple devices, and it came with a new feature that allowed users to download free apps, without the need of a password for verification. We all know how irritating that can be.
So let’s get right to it:
Note: Make sure you are running iOS 8.3.
Enable iOS 8.3 App Store Free Apps Password Settings
Step 1: First things first, grab your iOS 8.3 devices and navigate to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode from the home screen.
Step 2: Now, you’ll come across an option named iTunes & App Store. Turn it off, we don’t need it.
Step 3: Now, whenever you’re in Settings, go to the iTunes & App Store page and below your Apple ID you’ll notice the Password Settings feature.
Here’s where the magic happens!
Step 4: Below the Purchases & In-App Purchases menu, you will see two option, activate one of them. From there, you are allowed to toggle your Free Downloads option.
That’s it, that’s all you need to do to get rid of the password requirement.
You can ask as many questions as you want regarding the process in the comments. I will be back next with more “Here’s How” for you all, so stay-tuned.
