LinkedIn Elevate App Announced for Content Sharing by Employees
Today LinkedIn Elevate app was announced by the most famous business based social networking website with an intention to provide the employees with the right tools to share their company related content on other social networks like Twitter and Facebook.
LinkedIn product manager Will Sun took to the official website of the business/ social website with the announcement post.
He says that employees share very less of the content related to the company that they work for although such pieces of content have impressive value. As an example he said that after sharing six content pieces a user gets six profile views and two new connections on average!
According to him, only two percent of the employees share content from their company although employees have 10 times more connections than the company itself.
All this equates to the need of a dedicated tool box that lets the employees share good quality content to boast of their company as well as their work with the given employer:
Why aren’t more companies empowering their employees to be social professionals? Because they lack the tools needed to easily and effectively curate content, suggest it to the right employees, and measure the impact on the bottom line.
That’s why I’m excited to introduce LinkedIn Elevate – a new product that helps companies and employees curate high-quality content, share easily to social networks, and measure the impact.
LinkedIn Elevate is currently available on desktop, iOS, and Android but on an invite only basis, it will soon go live for everyone.
