Latest Updates on Android 5.0 Lollipop for Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 3, Note 2 and Note Edge
Samsung is updating its devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop at quite a pace. Among Samsung’s various devices receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop, the company is also on its way to roll out updates for its Note phablets including Galaxy Note 4, Note 3, Note 2 and Note Edge.
Galaxy Note 4: All three major carriers, AT&T, Verizon, and Spring, in the US have commenced releasing updates for the Galaxy Note 4. T-mobile is also working on the update and will soon start upgrading affiliated devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
As for as updates outside the US are concerned, Samsung’s latest flagship tablet owners in Canada will be able to update their devices in anytime in April. While the baltic countries including India, Brazil, and UAE have already received the update.
Galaxy Note 3: Similarly Galaxy Note 3 on AT&T and T-Mobile has just recently received Android 5.0 Lollipop update, while the update rollout has been started for other International markets too.
Galaxy Note 2: Galaxy Note 2 is still in the waiting list for update. Initially, it was not even sure whether Samsung was going to update it or not. But later, the Note 2 owners got some satisfaction when the device maker confirmed the release of the Android Lollipop 5.0 for Galaxy Note 2.
This update was however promised to users living in Nordic region of Europe who are still waiting for the fulfillment of promise as the company hinted the rollout was likely to begin “later in 2015.”
Galaxy Note Edge: Lastly, the Galaxy Note Edge, which made much news with its curved display, has received Android Lollipop 5.0 update in Australia. But since then update has not been released for other markets except India.
