iPad Mini 4 Leaked Photos Suggest Design Similarity To iPad Mini 2
As the rumor mill keeps on churning out a sizable chunk of updates and gossip about the upcoming devices, especially for Apple products, we do tend to get some validated and legit portion of it that manages to grasp our attention.
While news is rife with iPad Mini 4’s specifications and features, another headline is being made by the new leaked photos of the potential casing of the iPad Mini 4, which were published on the French site NoWhereElse.
The changes seen so far is a speaker grille that has confined the speaker holes from two to one. The casing also suggests it is thinner than its predecessor, which was no surprise in the first place.
Moreover, the lack of the mute/rotation switch is a good move on saving space as it was no longer needed after the functions became available in the software through Control Center.
The shell in the images appears to be from an LTE model, as given away by the cutout at the top of the device for the cellular antenna window and the presence of a SIM card slot below the volume rockers.
While the design seems to hold some shades of the previous version of iPad, Apple fanatics are hoping the new model comes with a new refresh. The third gen iPad Mini was a disappointment for all, as it only retouched a feature or two of the previous version. This led to the company forcing itself to discontinue the version and only keep iPad mini 2 alive.
