LG G4 Will Come With UX 4.0 Software
LG has said that its latest iteration of UX software will provide more simplicity to the users and it will be smarter than its previous versions. The UX 4.0 features more configuration options, especially allowing professionals to set them according to their needs.
The UX 4.0 will be based on the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop and will have interesting features. One of the features is “Quick shot” which allows users to take photos instantly by tapping the volume button found on the back of LG phones twice, even when the screen is turned off. This feature is useful in capturing the moments that may be missed during the time screen and camera is turned on.
The camera will have three modes in UX 4.0. These modes, namely Professional, Regular, and Simple, can be set by the user according to their needs. LG is claiming that users can get DSLR-like photos if they set the configurations properly.
The apps can also be collected in widget form so that they can be viewed all at once. LG says the new iteration of its software has fewer menus and simplified icons.
The calendar is also made compatible with user’s social networks. So the schedules set on social networks can be imported into the calendar to be viewed. The photo gallery has been made smarter as it is now able to group pictures together depending on where and when they were taken.
The company has also said that LG G4 will be the first device to come with UX 4.0. The latest software update will be pushed to other LG smartphones after the release of LG G4.
