Facebook Scrapbook Lets You Make Shared Baby Albums
If you are a parent, you must value your child and those memorable pictures of their childhood – the first sleep at home, the first walk, the first time cycling and so on.
Now that Facebook is such an integral part of our lives that a day hardly passes by when around a billion of us humans don’t login to it, the developers of Facebook thought they should look after your needs in this case as well.
With the introduction of Facebook Scrapbook, the social media platform is going to let you arrange all the pictures of your child that are uploaded to the website in one place for your friends to see.
No it is not the same as creating just any other photo album dedicated to your baby and uploading everything to it. The scrapbook offers a seamless feature in which, no matter where you upload the pictures, if you decide to tag your child in a said picture, that picture will appear in your Scrapbook.
There are a few prerequisites, firstly, you will have to list your child as a family member and then you will add a special tag for your child. Now, every time you are creating an album dedicated to any of your events (or whatever), and a photo of your child is in there, all you will need to do is tag your child and the photo will be displayed on the Facebook Scrapbook too!
This way you will be able to compile all the memories of your kids in one place.
It doesn’t end there, both the parents will be able to add pictures to the customized album and once you make the album your friends and the friends of your partner will be able to see them with ease.
Some of the primary features that you will be able to make use of through the Facebook Scrapbook are these:
- You can opt to co-own the scrapbook with a partner who you’re in a relationship with on Facebook.
- You choose what you call the tag—it could be your child’s name, initials or something fun.
- You and your partner choose which photos to tag.
- Only you and your partner can tag your child in photos.
- We’ve built in lots of reminders and tips to guide you along the way.
The US users will be able to get the Facebook Scrapbook today on Facebook for desktop, iPhone and Android. Nothing was shared about other regions.
