Google And Microsoft Team up to Build Angular 2 Framework
Not just the Angular 2 is going to benefit from this partnership, Typescript has also seen quite some improvements in its working as well. Typescript 1.5 which is going to be launched in the coming weeks has brought together features like introspection, field and metadata annotations.
“Working closely with a rich library like Angular has helped TypeScript to evolve additional language features that simplify end-to-end application development, including annotations, a way to add metadata to class declarations for use by dependency injection or compilation directives,” Microsoft’s corporate vice president of its Developer Division S.
Another one of those benefits by developing Angular 2 on using Typescript will provide developers with more help from when using their IDE while migrating or refactoring their code. But a migration announcement isn’t always welcomed by all the community members.
Likewise Angular 2 not supporting backward compatibility has irked many. Plus their move to a Microsoft based language will be even more difficult to accept. As developers will now have to learn in order to transpile and learn both languages in order to gain proficiency in both languages.
