Google Inbox Will Be Available For Business Customers Next Month
In October 2014, Google revolutionized the way people went on about their emails. With the launch of Inbox, though only through select invites, Google made sure that people who considered email to be an important mode of communication were facilitated with added productivity.
Now Google makes a move to increase the usage scope of Inbox, by opening its use for Google Apps for Work clientele. Google Apps for Work email users can now get a chance to benefit themselves from the ease-of-use Inbox offers.
Initially a limited number of organizations may be able to get fully transitioned to using Inbox for all their correspondence. Through its invitation program, Google will be selecting a limited number of companies to use Inbox for the time being.
The reason why only a limited selection for the initial release, is because Google intends to work closely with the participant firms and track usage patterns and statistics. This would ensure that with the help of teams Google is able “build the new work Inbox,” says the company and also “learn their needs, challenges and use cases” as quoted by Alex Gawley, Director of Product Management, Gmail and Inbox by Gmail.
Mr. Gawley may have hinted some sort of a criteria for companies who can become a part of this introductory rollout: “Companies who intend to use Inbox as the primary email client among all the employees, have employees that rely heavily on mobile email applications and are willing to collaborate with Google for user-studies.”
Hence if your response to all the aforementioned questions is a yes then you can easily apply for an invite to this ‘early adopter’ program. All you have to do is email firstname.lastname@example.org from your Google Apps for Work administrator account and request an invite.
As Google highly values this partnership with the companies who are going to make it to the early adopter program, it can be rightly assumed that Inbox for Work is going to be significantly different from the one already being used by consumers. Inbox for Work, so to say is expected to cater the specific needs of all enterprises as well as make it more intelligent in a wider context.
