Apple Watch Will Be Featured In Vogue With Multi-Page Spread Showing Actual Size
Apple wants to leave no stone unturned at least for advertisement of its much anticipated smartwatch. The watch has not yet been unveiled in the market but Apple is set to unveil it in the March issue of Vogue, reported 9to5Mac.
So while we have not yet experienced the popular watch, we will at least be able to take a glimpse of the wearable in simple but detailed multi-page spread ads. In the ads, Apple Watch is featured against the white background which has made its features – stainless steel, rose gold about 18-karat and leather loop versions – more distinctive.

In its Vogue ads, Apple will give a sort of demonstration of Watch features which it has already disclosed. The only revelation which is expected to come through these ads is of dimensions of the Watch. Apple has not yet said anything about its actual size but, it did announced that Watch will come in two sizes: 38 millimeters and 42 millimeters.
Carlos Ribas, indie app developer, captured Apple Watch ad and noted that watch is sized about 40 millimeters — which is a little less than the Apple’s plans and promises. But when the magazine is out and it reaches masses, astute folks may figure its actual size out through multiple readings.

Whatsoever its size is, it’s an undeniable fact that Smartwatch will secure very positive consumer opinion for itself, because of its origin: iPhone maker Apple. Apple realizes the charm its watch is going to create for those highly sociable folks. Thus it is trying to enhance the fascination effect of the wearable by marketing it not only as an accessory which is a splendid miracle of technology but, as a fashion product as well.
A manifesto of this marketing strategy began back in 2014 when the Apple watch gave its first appearance on November issue of Vogue China. In 2015, the Watch is planned to be featured in the March issue of SELF along with Vogue. Apple has designed a quiet stylish ad for the SELF– supermodel Candice Swaneopoel will adorn her wrist with the smart wearable.
As the available smartwatches have not been able to impress users a great deal, Apple is likely to be embraced with open arms and optimistic hearts, for wishful wrists.
