DJ Zane Lowe Will Give A Leg Up to Apple’s iTunes
Is Apple intended to ballyhoo its music services by hiring DJ Zane Lowe? It looks so, at least apparently, as Apple has planned to ameliorate the music experience of its existing users and appeal to new users by employing one of the most notable names in UK’s music arena, the BBC confirmed.
Having worked at MTV and BBC as DJ and producer, Zane Lowe has become a significance player in the UK’s music scene. Lowe’s role at Apple is scant until now. However, it is being forecasted by the sources that he will be designated to revamp Apple’s iTunes service.
The iPhone maker seems pretty determined to better and expand its music services. Probably, that is why we are seeing Lowe being employed, following the multibillion purchases of headphone brand Beats along with its streaming service Beats Music.
“Zane is one of the foremost music tastemakers in the world and a legendary music curator,” an Apple spokesperson said. “We’re excited to have him join the music team.”
Besides his admirable achievements as a DJ and a music producer, Lowe has worked as music director for an international festival brand Ibiza Rocks.
Lowe is considered to be the figure who has influenced many in the music industry including breaking artists like Arctic Monkeys, Adele and Ed Sheeran. In addition to this, he has done many exclusive interviews with famous artists like Jay Z, Kanye West and Eminem. If we look at his most significant accomplishments as DJ, we can’t underestimate his tours with Skrillex and The Prodigy also.
He is more than a DJ though. He has written for artists of high caliber including Tinie Tempah, and Chase and Status. This reminds me of one of my favorite tracks “Restart” from Sam Smith’s because the song belongs to the album “In the Lonely Hour,” which was co-written and produced by now Apple’s Zane Lowe.
Zane Lowe has almost countless accomplishments to his credit. The point is how Apple is going to gain from his talents.
