Dyson 360 Eye Is Possibly The Best Robo Vacuum Cleaner Ever Created
Robot vacuum cleaners are nothing new, they have been in the market for quite a while now. Some of them are even pretty good but still the top of the line quality vacuum sometimes misses bits and pieces in some areas resulting in having the owner end up cleaning afterwards which kind of defeats the purpose of such a machine. Well, it seems like the British home appliance company Dyson has the solution to that.
Dyson spent almost 16 years researching the technology and experimenting and finally it has come up with its very own robo cleaner, Dyson 360 Eye — an intelligent robot that packs in a 360-degree camera to make sure it doesn’t miss a single spot! Well, atleast that’s what the company claims.
While Dyson is well-known for its appliances including dryers and vacuum cleaners, does it really deliver when it comes to automatic cleaning through a robot? Well, it certainly does seem so since the intelligent robot boasts a suction power which is far superior to any other vacuum cleaner in the market right now.
Combine the superior suction power with the intelligent camera designed to provide a 360-degree panoramic vision to the robot with the help of various infrared sensors and you have a machine capable of sucking dirt easily from every reachable place in the room.
Pair those smarts with the V2 digital motor, which along with its Radial Root Cyclone tech, the 360 Eye can separate dust and dirt, and suck up particles down to 0.5 microns – Dyson claims you won’t have to set it to do a second sweep at all.
So how does the robot do what others have failed to do before? Well, the 360-degree rotating camera builds an intelligent plan of the room floor to help it navigate through the area and track its current position respective of the room dimensions. It also uses landmarks to mark down those areas it has previously crossed so it doesn’t get lost like so many other robo cleaners.
To top it off, Dyson has armed the 360 Eye with tank tracks, just like an all terrain vehicle, to conquer almost anything you’ve got placed on the floor, letting it maintain speed and direction, while there’s a smartphone app on iOS and Android which will let you schedule clean-ups with just a quick few button taps.
Pretty impressive, right? Well, you will have to wait before you can get your hands on this little cleaner, which might end up solving your main problem, since currently the device is scheduled to hit Japan sometime during Spring 2015 with the launch for other areas of the world soon to follow.
